He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Bentley and Tegla Bentley (Tapio); and his siblings, Rueben Bentley, Marvin Bentley (Kathy) and Jerry Bentley (Hazel).
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Bentley (Wendt) of New York Mills; his siblings, Alice Anderson (Clarence) of New York Mills and Robert Bentley (Marlene) of Hoyt Lakes; his sister-in-law Shirlyn Bentley of Nisswa; his stepchildren, Janet Ehnert (Ron) of New York Mills, Jean Harper (Dennis) of Ramsey, Joan Grotberg (Terry) of Ramsey and Herbert "Buddy" Kahilainen (KayAnn) of New York Mills; and his sister-in-law Marjorie Richter of Vergas.
