He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Rautio and Matilda Rautio (Karaniemi); and his siblings, Oscar Rautio (Anita), Henry Rautio, Sylvia Heikkula, Alice Heikkula (Archie) and Ernie Rautio.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Rautio of New York Mills; his children, Lori Murdock (Rich) of Henning, Pamela Haverland (Jeff) of Perham, Robert Rautio of New York Mills and Mitchell Rautio (Janna) of Bemidji; his grandchildren, Shelby Speckien (Mark), Mike Paavola, Nicole Hardy (Blaine), Kayla Keil (Justin), Ty Haverland, Ryan Rautio, Nicholas Rautio and Matthew Rautio; his great grandchildren, Ogden Speckien, Griffin Hardy, Easton Keil and Jay Keil; his sister Ailie Calvary; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Rautio, Mary Rautio, Marge Jones, Dave Jones and Art Heikkula.
