She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle T. Whitney and Ida J. Whitney (Grover); her children, Bradley Nurmi and Roxanne Nurmi (Bradley); and the parent of her children Eltger Nurmi.
She is survived by: her former spouse Eltger Nurmi; her husband John Reger; her daughter Crystal Reger; her grandchildren, Justin Perry (Molly), Tiffany Brunko (Rodney) and Brittany Asfeld (Jake); and her siblings, Melody Gentle (Tracy), Cheryl Bock (James) and Lowell Whitney (Deann).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Schoeneberger Funeral & Cremation Service (100 Jake St, Perham, MN 56573). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 3:15 PM at the Richville Cemetery (40445 Co Hwy 14, Richville, MN 56576).
