He is survived by: his wife Violet; his children, Gene Roller Jr (Brenda) of Hewitt, Ardis McFarlane (Phil) of Kansas City, MO and Barbara Heikkila of Saginaw; his brother Jerry Roller (Audrey); and his grandsons, Brent Roller, Ryan Roller, John McFarlane, Seth Heikkila, Luke Heikkila and Drew McFarlane.
