The world bids farewell to Yvonne Meyer of New Ulm, Minnesota, departing on January 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Yvonne leaves behind memories cherished by the community. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Yvonne may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Yvonne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Alvin Meder and Warren Meyer; her sister Darlene Beckman; and her parents, Alvin Mickelson and Henriette Mickelson (Riopel).
She is survived by: her son Jeff Meder; and her sister Karen Mosel (Don). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Lutheran Church (1515 N Garden St, New Ulm, MN 56073).
In lieu of flowers; memorials preferred to Sleepy Eye Care Center, Oak Hills Care Center or Christ the King Lutheran Church.
