He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Wilfahrt (Berg) and Robert Wilfahrt; his parents-in-law, Bertha and Joe Rothmeier; his great grandchild Josh Wilfahrt; and his brothers-in-law, Linus Hillesheim and Jerry Paquette.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Wilfahrt; his children, Sharon Sprenger (Gary) of New Ulm, Jean Tessmer (Larry) of Sleepy Eye, Anne Domeier of New Ulm, Ron Wilfahrt (Annamarie) of New Ulm, Kenny Wilfahrt of Beloit, David Wilfahrt (Nancy) of Downs, Roger Wilfahrt (Julie) of New Ulm and Leon Wilfahrt of Hanska; his grandchildren, Aaron Wilfahrt, Eric Wilfahrt, Nicole Schroeder, Tina Ness, Jared Wilfahrt, Jason Sprenger, Brian Sprenger, Jeff Sprenger, Jessica Kuebler, Lance Tessmer, Nate Domeier, Tanya Domeier, Ryan Domeier, Willie Wilfahrt and Dezi Wilfahrt; and his sisters, Alice Hillesheim of New Ulm and Donna Paquette of Prior Lake. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
