He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Tom and Martha Remiger; his sister Lucille; his brothers-in-law, Sylvester Walter, Tom Remiger Jr., Larry Eckhart and Joe Burns; and his parents, John Berle and Mary Berle (Borth).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Ann Schuetzle (Tim) of Bismark, ND, David (Leslie) of Sleepy Eye, Mark (Gail) of Gibbon and Brian (Heidi) of Shakopee; his grandchildren, Kristen, Darren, Landen, Kaylen, Jordan, Jeff and Jenna; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Eva Berle, Claire, Crew Schuetzle, Josette, Henry Spelbrink, Viola Berle and Rhine Schuetzle; his stepgrandchildren, Monica and Andrew Peterson; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Burns of Fairmont and Ginny Eckhart of Bozeman, MT. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
