He was predeceased by: his wife Mavis Davis; his parents, Harold Davis and Angeline Davis; and his brothers, Robert, Leon Davis (Anneliese) and Harold Davis, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Sheri Davis of New Ulm, Gary Davis of San Diego, CA and Mary Hohensee (Jeff) of New Ulm; his grandchildren, Jen Verzalik, Laura Leighty (Colbey), Ellie Hohensee, Rachel Hohensee and Ben Hohensee; his great grandchildren, Collin, Carson, Camden Verzalik, Kaden, Luke and Avery Leighty; and his sister-in-law Ferne Davis of New Ulm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Oak Hills Living Center, the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 15 of New Ulm, American Legion Seifert-Bianchi Post 132, or the donor's choice.
