He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Kelly Dyre; his great grandchild Bo Dyre; his great great grandchild Angel Tauer; his brother Orlin; his sons-in-law, Barry Dyre and Dennis Gyberg; his parents, Armin Mack and Adelheid Mack (Wendland); and his wife Lucille Harmening.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Gyberg, Susan, Debra Tauer (Linus) and Barb; his grandchildren, Dawn Gunsalus (Brandon), Dana Swanson (Kris), Scott Dyre, Cindy Dyre, Kari Fritz (Jason), Tina Cariveau (Steve), Terri Schmidt (Dan), Justin Tauer, Travis Tauer (Tarissa) and Cole Tauer; his great grandchildren, Lindsay Weber (Tyson), Alison Willers (Tony), Tyler Brands, Katie Van Aartsen (Mark), Codie Swanson (Cristina), Jordin Swanson, Nick Blumhofer, McKenzie Dyre, Kobe Dyre, Addison Vernig, Abagail Heimkes, Emily Heimkes, Preston Bauer (Tessa), Brittany Szczepanski (Joel), Autumn Bauer, Tessa Tauer, Elizabeth Tauer, Emma Tauer, Sayla Tauer and Deegan Tauer; and his great great grandchildren, Reagan Willers, Nolan Weber, Reece Weber, Jayce Van Aartsen and Jayden Blahowski.
