He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Ubl and Rosella Ubl (Hauser); his wife Darlene Ubl; his sisters, Mary Jane Van Allen and Janet Balfe; his brothers-in-law, Bernard Havelka, Rick Stage, Michael Baggett and Clint Van Allen; and his nephew Adam Ash.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Maidl (Joseph) of Lafayette, Kimberly Ubl of New Ulm and Paul Ubl (Kelly) of St. Francis, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Jessica, Andrew Maidl (Jazmyne), Dylan (Maddi), Hannah, Gunner, Hunter Volk, Courtney (Peter Rausch), Haley, Luke and Conor Ubl; his great grandchildren, Lane, Cayde Maidl and Lyla Volk; and his siblings, Pauline Havelka, Beatrice Malenke (Delbert), Darlene Stage, Deborah Schmidt, Rosemary Baggett, Marlene Ash, Jerry Ubl (Bonnie), Lowell Ubl (Gloria) and Michael Block. He is also survived by his loving nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home - South Chapel (600 S Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073).
