He is survived by: his wife Rosie Schaefer; his children, John Schaefer of New Ulm and Julie Young (Tharon) of Sauk Centre; his grandchildren, Austin, Samantha Schaefer, Taylor and Paige Young; and his siblings, Lois Seibel (Larry) of New Ulm, Donna Gieseke (Gary) of New Ulm, Steve Schaefer (Jeanne) of New Ulm, Ruth Burr (Phil) of Eau Claire, WI, Phyllis Domeier (Gary) of New Ulm and Ken Schaefer (Heidi) of North Tustin, CA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
