He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty Danielson; his children, Travis Sauers (Melissa) of Shakopee and Traci Scott (Brian) of Oakdale; his grandchildren, Ben, Jack Sauers and Ava Scott; his siblings-in-law, Roger Danielson of Appleton, WI and Lorie Solvik (Steve) of Lexington, KY; his nieces, Sarah (Jeremy), Hannah (Will) and Hillary (Jobe); his great-nephew Liam; his sister Gail Sauers; and his parents, Theodore Sauers, and Gladys Sauers, Sr. (Blomquist). He was also cherished by many cousins, other relatives, and friends.
After retirement, Ted served on the ISD 88 Foundation for ten years and spent summers with Betty fishing on the many lakes up north.
