He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Benson and Myrtle Benson (Blake). He is survived by: his wife Janet Benson; his son Scott Benson; and his siblings, Trudy Wenninger and Douglas Benson (Diane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
