He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vincent and Nellie Mae Morgan Arpino; and his grandson Simon Arpino. He is survived by: his son Michael Arpino (Heather) of New Ulm, MN; his grandchildren, Adeleide, Isaac and Pearl; his half-brother Steve Gabel (Kathy) of Oronoco, MN; and his stepfather Dale Gabel of Keokuk.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bel Air Baptist Church.
