He was predeceased by: his siblings, Darlene Stueber, Emil and Freddie Milbrett. He is survived by: his children, Karen Blaschko (Jeremy) of St. Peter, Duane Milbrett (Susie Bundt) of Denver, Randy Milbrett (Beth) of Mankato and Jamie Milbrett of New Ulm; and his grandchildren, Rachel Carpenter (Chris) of Mankato, Robyn James (Matt) of North Mankato, Becky Milbrett (Brody Jones) of Dallas, Rhonda Milbrett (Adam Despres) of North Mankato, Reanna Milbrett (Ivan Garcia) of North Mankato and Melanie Kiem (Eric) of Cook. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
