It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Wilbrecht of New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on August 20, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Jimmy Joe Johnson; his grandson Ty Montoya; and his parents, Edward Wilbrecht and Clara Wilbrecht (Willinger). He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Wilbrecht; and his children, Lisa Marie Montoya (Tony), Steven Richard Wilbrecht, Beth Ann Johnson and Renee Collette Lipinski (Keith). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
Dick then worked in 3M's emergency squad, as well as an instructor for the Red Cross and American Heart Association.
