It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Murphy of New Ulm, Minnesota, born in Glencoe, Minnesota, who passed away on December 11, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Pat Murphy, Dennis Murphy, Jane Murphy and Mary Ellen Murphy; and his parents, Urban Murphy and Alice Mae Murphy (Courtney).
He is survived by: his wife Diane Murphy of New Ulm; his son Brian Murphy (Allie) of New Ulm; his grandchildren, Nathan Murphy and Logan Murphy; his stepgrandsons, Michael Schmidt and Jacob Schmidt; and his sister Margaret Bisson of Oklahoma City, OK. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
