He is survived by: his wife Julie Mathiowetz of New Ulm; his daughters, Paula Wenninger (John) of Lafayette and Jody Walls (John) of New Ulm; his grandsons, Jacob Thunander of Annandale, Joshua Wenninger of Lafayette and Tyler Walls (Makena Otto) of New Ulm; and his sisters, Marcheta Kovalyak and Angela Benson.
