With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Grausam (New Ulm, Minnesota), who passed away on February 20, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene Grausam (Gene) and Theodosia Grausam (Dodie); his grandfather Henry Grausam (Odel); his wife Kathleen Piehl; his children, Kristen Kiese, Geno (Cara Grausam), Ann (Shawn Ellefson) and Sara (Justin Bashus); his grandchildren, Mick, Rosslyn, Garrick, Elizabeth, Anthony, Anders, Audry and Isabella; his siblings, Bob Grausam (Nancy), Tom Grausam, John Grausam (Evie), Nanette Helgeson (Bob), Patty Burdick (Steve), Jimmy Grausam (Sandy), Barbara Roetzler, Jerry Piehl (Robin) and Mary Ann Grausam; and his parents-in-law, Joe, Rose Piehl, Theresa Grausam, Frank Roetzler, Fran and Dick Blank.

Memorials preferred to the New Ulm American Legion, New Ulm Area Catholic Schools, the New Ulm Regional Veterinary Center (NURVC) Veterinary Care Charitable Fund (VCCF), or the New Ulm Medical Center Foundation.
