He is survived by: his wife Cindy Apitz; his children, Zach Apitz, Michelle Apitz (Ryan Wroge) and Ashley Apitz; his grandchildren, Austin Apitz, Tayden Moldan, Jameson Apitz and Hudson Wroge; his siblings, Lisa Pumper (Bob), Kari Apitz (Tim Meidl), John Apitz (Gail), Scott Apitz (Sharon) and Bryan Apitz (Amy); and his pet Meeko. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
