It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mervin E. Jones (New Ulm, Minnesota), who passed away on April 4, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Othneil Jones and Eleanor Jones (Price); his wife DeLoris Berg of New Ulm; his daughter Judy; his son-in-law Tom Stearns; his children, Connie Jones and Wint; and his daughter-in-law Dee Ann Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Randall (Mike) and Richard Jones (Marsha) of Cambria; his grandchildren, Keith Stearns (Amy), Beth Banon (Eran), Brian Stearns (Maggie), Darcy Stearns (Steve Hundley), Dawn Stearns, Maizie Arndt (Brandon), Joshua Randall (Lindsey Thompson), Nathan Jones (Heidi) and Meredith Jones (Nate Gieseke); his great grandchildren, Morgan (Nathan Rose), Hunter, Ethan, Brady, Hudson, Savannah, Trinity, Terrell, Carson, Vinnie, Brody, Brenley, Bayler, Henry, Hadley, Sawyer and Eloise; his great great grandchild Beckham; and his stepgrandchildren, Dana Leonard (Amy) and Amber Donaghue (Jason).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cambria Presbyterian Church (123 Ash St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
