He was predeceased by: his son Gary Merlin Fixsen; his siblings, Delores Vetch, Arnold and Donald Fixsen; and his parents, Theodore Fixsen and Agnes Fixsen (Bernardy).
He is survived by: his wife Marlys Fixsen of New Ulm; his daughters, Carol Comstock (Gordon) of St. Cloud, Marie Utz (Tom) of Kasson and Marlene Braulick (Don) of New Ulm; his grandchildren, Garen Comstock (Amy), Cara Fish (Jordan), Ryan Comstock, Anna Kunz (Mike), Krista Kimball (Colin), Molly Reinhart (John) and Marissa Utz (Brady Wright); his brother Myron Fixsen (Joann); his sisters-in-law, Arlene Kral, Alyce Anstett and Mary Jane Windschitl; and his niece Deb Bailly (Randy). He is also survived by his 13 great-grandchildren.
