She was predeceased by: her husband James Hartten; her son-in-law Bashir Stamboulieh; her brothers, Scott and Jeffery Bieraugel; her stepmother Arlene Bieraugel; her brother-in-law Gerald "Jerry" Pagel; and her parents, Vernon Bieraugel and Arline Bieraugel (Penkert).
She is survived by: her children, Catherine, Christine Hartten of New Ulm and Randy Hartten (Ron Lotz) of Minneapolis; and her siblings, Barbara Pagel of Winthrop and Vernon Bieraugel Jr. (Barbara) of Kailua, HI. She is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Divine Providence Community Home of Sleepy Eye or New Ulm Area Catholic Schools.
