She was predeceased by: her husband Winton Grundmeyer; her son Tim Grundmeyer; her brothers, Emory, Roger and David Gehrke; and her parents, Lawrence Gehrke and Irene Gehrke (Wiese).
She is survived by: her children, Julie Hodapp (John Kaupa) of New Richland and Scott Grundmeyer of Mankato; and her siblings, Jeanie Braun of Le Center, MN, Becky Factor of Le Center, MN, Barb Gilman of Le Center, MN and Donnie Gehrke (Sharon) of Randall, MN. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – South Chapel (600 S Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to Brown County Veterans Emergency Relief Fund or the Disabled American Veterans.
