She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Brandel; her son Larry Brandel; her siblings, Leo F. Schugel and Geraldine Fischer (Delbert); her siblings-in-law, Herbert, Lucille Oarth, Vincent, Lucille Brandel and Jerome Brandel; her nephew Alan Brandel; her niece Debra Wieland; and her parents, Leo Schugel and Elizabeth Schugel (Arnoldi).
She is survived by: her daughters, Gail Menk (Gregg) of Eagan, Cheryl Senske (Mark) of Winthrop and Lori Achman (Joe) of New Ulm; and her sister-in-law Martha Schugel of New Ulm. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, New Ulm Area Catholic Schools or Donor's Choice.
