She was predeceased by: her husband Lyle Royer of Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church; her siblings-in-law, Elaine Barnes, Genevieve Gluth, Doris Barker and Orville Royer; her pet Rascal; and her parents, Elmer Olson and Beatrice Olson (Havemeier).
She is survived by: her sons, Lance Royer of New Ulm and Ryan Royer (Bev) of New Ulm; her grandson Jonathan Royer; and her brother Gerald Olson of New Ulm.
