She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Sprenger; her siblings, Bernice Portner, Loretta Krzmarzick (Linus), Elizabeth Gleisner (John), Marcella Doyle (William), Harry Portner (Arlene), Erwin Portner (Elsie), Robert Portner (Georgine) and Norbert Portner; her son-in-law Bob Ludewig; and her parents, Edward Portner and Mary Portner (Ubel).
She is survived by: her children, Donna Ludewig, Eileen Krzmarzick (Ken), Mary Isenberg (Don), Barbara Fairchild (Jon), Sue Beilke (Kurt), Carol Schnobrich (Gary), Steve Sprenger (Linda Fischer) and Jim Sprenger (Elaine); her sister Doris Drage (Al); and her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Portner and Sharon Wolf (Bill). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-granddaughters.
