He was predeceased by: his son DuWayne "Mikie" Larson; his sisters, Zona Redepenning and Jeanette Redepenning; his nephew Eric Redepenning; and his mother Mabel Larson (Gaard).
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Nunnenkamp of North Plains, Bonnie Grochow (Roger) of New Ulm, Kim Koser (Mark) of Eleva, Dawn Garland (Bob) of New Ulm and Kyle Larson of New Ulm. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
