He was predeceased by: his son Chet Larson; his granddaughter Rebecca Larson; his parents, Melvin Larson and Arlene Larson (Brudelie); his brother Charles "Chuck" Larson; his sister-in-law Norma Larson; his parents-in-law, Don and Stella Pizel; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn "Tootie" Lastine, Charles Pizel, Doug Pizel and Warren Pizel.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Pizel of Hanska; his children, Chad Larson (Jodi) of New Ulm, Craig Larson (Kathy) of New Ulm, Clyde Larson (Kelly) of Hanska, Clay Larson (Johanna) of Hanska and Carla Berg (Kenny) of New Ulm; his grandchildren, Kayla Weinkauf (Mark), Megan Larson, Michael Larson (Jordyn), Katie King (Hunter), Kevin Larson, Kristi Larson, Mallory Larson, Nash Larson, Nolan Larson, Hudson Larson, Alyssa Birman (Chris), Nicholas Larson (Mailee), Lucas Larson (Abby), Leah Larson, Tucker Berg, Addley Berg and Cooper Berg; and his siblings-in-law, Deanna Anderson of Arkansas, Deanne Pizel of Hanska, Lydia Parker of Birchwood, Ron Pizel (Sharon) of New Ulm, Ken Pizel (Darlene) of Owatonna and Tom Lastine of New Ulm. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (211 Summit Ave, Hanska, MN 56041).
