She was predeceased by: her daughter Rita Herlick; her stepson Tom Bode; her son-in-law Richard Mielke; her siblings, Donald (Leona Hahn), Joseph Hahn (Gladys), Lucille Rickers (Arthur), Lozina Clobes Jr. (Otto) and Rose Marie Hahn; her parents, John Hahn and Rosa Hahn (Helget); her former spouse Wilmar Hulke; and her husband Loren "Pete" Bode.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Mielke of New Ulm, Mary Herlick of Duluth, Ruth Hansen (Mark) of New Ulm, James Herlick (Kelly) of Grand Island and Charles Herlick (Deb) of Courtland; and her stepson Troy Bode (Rachel) of New Ulm. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and three great - great grandchildren.
