Linda Schmidt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Schmidt of New Ulm, Minnesota, born in Lomira, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 28, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Rose and Vera Rose; her brother Arlen Rose; her sister-in-law Barbara Rose; and her parents-in-law, Harold and Vera Schmidt.
She is survived by: her husband John Schmidt of New Ulm; her children, Jeffrey Schmidt (Jenny) of Flushing, MI, Jason Schmidt (Shannon) of Tucson, AZ, Jody Scharrer (Benjamin) of Hemlock, MI and Jill Embacher (Grant Bacich) of St. Peter; her brothers, Morris Rose and Jacque Rose (Mary); her siblings-in-law, Janet Rose, Jerald Schmidt (Christine), Joan Rusch (Karl), Jane Thomas (Tom), Julie Sukowatey (Michael) and Jacqueline Luedtke (Philip); and her grandchildren, Heidi, Ryan, Justin, Josiah, Samuel, Katie, Molly, Kailyn, Evan and Hannah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Linda's name, to Martin Luther College Student Aid.
