He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Elaine Runck Wilfahrt; his son Paul; and his grandson Andrew Wilfahrt. He is survived by: his children, Alan Wilfahrt, Jeff Wilfahrt, Charlie Wilfahrt and Jan Wilfahrt Whitcomb; his children-in-law, Linda Wilfahrt, Lori Wilfahrt, Kris Wilfahrt and Dave Whitcomb; his grandchildren, Anne Warburton (Jim), Bob Wilfahrt (Lisa Gray), Alison Perry (Bill), Martha Wilfahrt (Robert Braun), Peter Wilfahrt (Mandy Maring), Amelia Louden (Kevin), Owen Whitcomb and Abigail Wilfahrt; his sisters-in-law, Helen Runck, Barb Wilfahrt and LeRone Wilfahrt; and his brothers, Wallace and Melvin Wilfahrt. He is also survived by five children.
