He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hackbarth and Lydia Hackbarth; his brothers-in-law, Delbert Fischer, Sr., Herald Brandel, Jerome Havemeier and Robert Curtis; and his nephew Larry Brandel.
He is survived by: his wife Martha; his sisters, Geraldine Fischer and Marlys Brandel; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Havemeier and Doris Curtis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
