He was predeceased by: his sister Zelda; his brother-in-law Richard Domeier; his brothers, Delmar (Kathy Konakowitz), LeRoy (Linda Konakowitz) and Richard "Dicky" (Darlene Konakowitz); his nephews, Jason Lingl, Scot Lingl and Jesse Konakowitz; and his parents, John Konakowitz and Gladys Konakowitz (Harder).
He is survived by: his children, TerryLynn Fox (Allan) of New Ulm, Ricky Konakowitz of New Ulm and Paul Konakowitz (Monica Deleo) of Sioux Falls; and his siblings, Joyce Lingl (Richard) of New Ulm and Gary Konakowitz (Deb) of New Ulm. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
