She was predeceased by: her son Grant Nelson; her siblings, Beverly Fluegge and Lester Fluegge; and her parents, Elmer Fluegge and Willa Fluegge (Pagel).

She is survived by: her husband Keven Guth of Hutchinson; her children, Scott Nelson of Bagley, Andrew Guth of Kimball and Allison Guth of Bagley; her grandson Jacob Guth; her siblings, Mari Kassuelke (Donny) of New Ulm, Ruth Johnson of Texas, Jerilyn Hall (Ken) of Oklahoma, Sue Meyer of New Ulm, Robert Fluegge (Chizuru) of Oklahoma and Timothy Fluegge of Oklahoma; and her sister-in-law Carol Fluegge of New Ulm. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
