He is survived by: his wife Heidi Schaefer of Santa Anna, California; his siblings, Lois Siebel (Larry) of New Ulm, Donna Gieseke (Gary) of New Ulm, Ruth Burr (Philip) of Eau Claire, Phyllis Domeier (Gary) of Courtland and Steve "Jet" Schaefer (Jeanne) of New Ulm; and his sister-in-law Rosie Schaefer of Madelia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
