He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Vollmer of New Ulm; his children, David Vollmer (Sharon) of Lamberton, Michael Vollmer (Kris) of Lamberton, Steven Vollmer (Karis Jacobson) of Lamberton, Alan Vollmer (Nicole) of Murray, UT and Christina Schwab (Randy) of Gibbon; his grandchildren, Courtney Thram (Justin), Travis Vollmer (Corrie), Jordan Vollmer (Debbie), Taylor Vollmer (Kristen), Dylan Vollmer, Carson Vollmer, Karli Schwab and Thayne Schwab; his stepgrandchildren, Erin, Jeffrey and Michael; and his siblings, Donald Vollmer (Mary Ellen) of Superior, WI and Carol Rasmussen of Gurnee, IL.. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.
