It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Leske of New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Matt Schmit and Valeria Schmit (Lang); her in-laws, Sheldon and Louise Leske-Hartley; and her siblings-in-law, Gloria Sturm, JoAnn Leske, Sam Leske and Al Sorheim.

She is survived by: her husband Steve Leske of New Ulm; her siblings, Keven Schmit (Laurie) of New Ulm, Warren Schmit (Chris Blumke) of Prescott, WI and Al Schmit (Renee) of New Ulm; her in-laws, Chuck Leske of New Ulm, Dave Leske (Mary Lee) of New Ulm, Sandra Sorheim of New Ulm, Tom Leske (Sonja) of New Ulm and Margaret Frederickson (Jim) of Lafayette; and her nephew Jay Frederickson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to American Diabetes Association or Redeemer Lutheran Church.
