With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne May Boyle of New Ulm, Minnesota, born in Glencoe, Minnesota, who passed away on July 13, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" Boyle; her daughter Bridget Broshears; her siblings, Catherine Gehlen, Mary Gehlen, Doris Harpel, Irene Hoelz, Claire Steck Rowe, Mark, Bert, Richard, Joe and Father Al Gehlen; and her parents, Joseph Gehlen and Kate Gehlen (Willems).
She is survived by: her children, Sara Trautner (Richard) of Richfield, Daniel Boyle (Patti) of Louisville and Joseph Boyle (Katie) of Lake Elmo; her grandchildren, Nick Trautner (Kristin) of Richfield, Matthew Boyle of Louisville, Hannah Lechleiter (Chuck) of Louisville, Martha McDonaugh (Sean) of Woodbury, Emily Boyle of Lauderdale, Julia Hollway (Phil) of Costa Mesa, Sophia Broshears of Woodbury and Maria Broshears (Tony Walsh) of Eagan; and her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Clara Trautner and Scarlett Hollway. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
