It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Peterson (New Ulm, Minnesota), born in Spencer, Iowa, who passed away on May 9, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Roger and Lyle Ramnes; and her parents, Albert Ramnes and Arlyne Ramnes. She is survived by: her husband Ron Peterson of New Ulm; her son Daniel Peterson (Alicia) of Barnum, Minnesota; her grandson Albert Peterson; her brother David Ramnes (Helen) of International Falls, Minnesota; and her sister-in-law Charlene "Charlie" Ramnes of Sarasota, Florida. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
