She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold and Margaret; her husband Harold; her daughter Michelle Apitz; her siblings, Merton Stimpert, Jean Stimpert and Pat Stoneberg; and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Stoneberg and Rosie Stimpert.
She is survived by: her children, John Apitz (Gail) of New Ulm, Scott Apitz (Sharon) of New Ulm, Jean Friederich of New Ulm, Mike Apitz (Cindy) of New Ulm, Kari Apitz (Tim Meidl) of New Ulm, Bryan Apitz (Amy) of New Ulm and Lisa Apitz Of Mankato (Bob Pumper); her grandchildren, Anna, David, Sheila Apitz, Brian Kral (Marcy), Michelle, Ashley, Zachary Apitz, Kaitlin Apitz (Eric Dailey) and Blake Schnobrich; her great grandchildren, Elly, Brooklynn, Braydon, Miranda, Austin, Tayden and Jameson; her brother Jerry Stimpert; and her sister-in-law Lillian Stimpert of Sleepy Eye. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
