He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, Gail Versch, Virginia Faas and Robert Faas; his son-in-law Galen Havemeier; and his parents, Wilmer Versch and Natalie Versch (Lom).
He is survived by: his wife Malinda Versch; his children, Leslie Versch (Vicki), Sandra Havemeier and Kathy Nelson (Tim); his grandchildren, Justin Havemeier, Jeffrey Havemeier (Aileen), Kayla Bell (Jacob), Chyla Nelson, Staci Beranek (Eric) and Connor Versch; and his brother Albert Versch. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
