It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Lee Thompson of New Ulm, Minnesota, born in Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on August 22, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Thompson and Dorothy Thompson (Stanke); and his sister Judith Pringle. He is survived by: his wife Connie Thompson of New Ulm; his daughter Kari Lyon (Jeff); his grandchildren, Addison and Ethan of Eden Prairie; his daughter Jenni Klement (Scott); his grandchildren, Paige and Taylor of Stewartville; his stepmother Delores Thompson of Eagle Lake; his brother Thomas Thompson (Rebecca) of Waterville; his half-brother Dennis Thompson of St. Clair; and his stepsisters, Nancy Beadelll, Ginny Lien, Marilyn Pierce and Cathy Sieberg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to New Ulm American Legion Seifert-Bianchi Post 132, New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard, or donor's choice.
