It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanette Christensen of New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Brueske and Veronica Brueske (Zangl); her husband Leonard Christensen; her sister Patsy Sprenger; her brother-in-law Harvey Schaefer; and her nephew David Schaefer.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Christensen of Owatonna and Randy Christensen (Marlene) of New Ulm; her grandchildren, Brent Christensen (Jessica), Nicole MacNammee (Shannon), Bryan Christensen (Sarah) and Andrea Magnuson (Eric); her stepgranddaughters, Lexy Samdal (Michael Toland) and Lacey Gilden (Nathan); her great grandchildren, Amelia, Julia, Peyton, Baya, Ascher, Lily, Dominick and Gaby; and her sisters, Viola "Mutsi" Schaefer of New Ulm and Joleen "Beke" Altman (Ronald) of New Ulm. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
