He was predeceased by: his sister Bonita Boettger; and his parents, Martin Zins and Viola Zins (Sondag). He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Michele Farasyn (Brent) of New Ulm, Nicole Anderson (Joe) of Minnetonka, Dan (Barb) of New Ulm and Nathan Zins of New Ulm; his grandchildren, Cody Gasner, Amber Marmol, Giana, William Anderson, Ceanna, Nickolas and Zoey Zins; his great grandchildren, Skyler and Sydney West-Gasner; and his sisters, Carol Huelskamp of New Ulm and Evie Anderson (Vic) of Fairmont.
