He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Carlson and Martha Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Carlson of New Ulm; his children, Shelley Zacate (Luis) of New Ulm, Brian Carlson (Dawn) of Lake Crystal, Ala and David Carlson of New Ulm; and his siblings, Linda Benson (Merlin) of Winthrop, Jerry Carlson (Chubby) of New Ulm and Dennis Carlson of New Ulm. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
