She was predeceased by: her siblings, Marie Thomas (Bob), Eugene Hale and Robert Hale. She is survived by: her spouse Herbert Berg of New Ulm; her children, Debra Berg of New Ulm, Diane Berg of Liberty Lake, Washington and David Berg (Sharon) of New Ulm; her brother Leonard Hale (Shirley) of Kansas City, Missouri; her sister-in-law Audrey Hale of Kathy Hale; her parents, Charles Hale and Ethel Hale (Seffrood); and her child Grace. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
