He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Jessop; his daughter Sandra Wilfahrt; his brothers, Eugene and Stanley; and his parents, Charles Wilfahrt and Edith Wilfahrt (Koopmann).
He is survived by: his children, Terry Bleakley (Tom) of Lake Crystal, Brenda Tess of Mankato, Mike of New Ulm and Dave (Becky) of Courtland; his close friend Gloria Vreeman; and his brothers, Howard Wilfahrt (Christine) and Erv Wilferd (Nancy). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
