Gerald Scheibel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Scheibel of New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on March 5, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Patricia Irrthum, Lyle Scheibel and Tom Scheibel; his brother-in-law Roger Hinrichs; his parents, Armund Scheibel and Viola Scheibel (Hillesheim); and his wife Marion Zangel.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Scheibel of New Ulm, Stacy Melzer (Bryan) of North Mankato, Michael Scheibel (Patrice) of New Ulm, Bradley Scheibel (Amy) of New Ulm and Clayton Scheibel (Dawn) of Nevada; and his sisters, Barbara Hinrichs of Randolph and Mary Ellen Schmid (Steve) of Prior Lake. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 6 step-great grandchildren.
All guests in attendance are required to wear masks and follow current social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
