He was predeceased by: his daughter Bridget Broshears; his brothers, Charles, Mike and Gregory Boyle; and his parents, Charles Boyle and Clara Boyle (Kegler).
He is survived by: his children, Sara Trautner (Richard) of Richfield, Daniel Boyle (Patti) of Louisville, KY and Joseph Boyle (Katie) of Lake Elmo; his grandchildren, Nick Trautner (Kristin), Julia (Phil), Sophia, Maria Broshears, Matthew, Hannah (Chuck), Martha (Sean McDonough) and Emily Boyle; his great grandchildren, Benjamin and Clara Trautner; his siblings, Barbara McGuire (Joe) of New Ulm and Frank Boyle of Yakima, WA; and his wife Joanne Gehlen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
All guests in attendance are required to wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to AllinaHealth Hospice in New Ulm.
